Don't listen to the guys that tell you no because of the new look.
The new look is better and it will run even better, the start button isn't gone its just hidden into a corner,
and your not forced to use Metro to download programs, apps are completely optional.
Everything is really nice, it just takes a while to get used to the new look, anyone who tells you No is most likely because they don't like change, in fact they probably didn't like the new youtube look because of the Windows 8 type of look.
Honestly definitely worth it, will run better than 7 and you actually get a FPS boost in games.
Don't be afraid to try it, you will be glad you got it, just make sure you get the Pro version, so you don't have to buy the upgrade later.
