Do builds become more homely with less labor saving devices?

Just wondering everyone's opinion. You know, if you didn't use the duplicator so much or fillcan on a build, would it be more valuable to you? I guess it could be an obvious question, but then again I don't know how much people care about their builds, which I'm sure they do. Just a thought.

yeah i can see if people are going to dup a tree 1 or 2 times as a filler in the build.
but then some guys dup a single tree 100 times every 8 studs, and call it a forest. and it looks like stuff.
