If you like music in your game and you want to listen to it on your phone? then this is the guide for you!
NOTE: This is not illegal because you payed for them game meaning you payed for the music that came with the game.
What ever you do DO NOT burn the music on a disc and sell it in public. thats illegal and also DO NOT PRIATE THE MUSIC INTO A FOLDER AND PUT IT ON SOME TORRENT WEBSITE. THAT'S EVEN MORE ILLEGAL
How to find the music:
Valve games:
With Valve games (hl2,tf2,etc) you can easily find the game files in:
C:program files (x86), steam, steamapps, (your username).
in their will be all your valve games except some of the gold source engine games
now go into any valve game you want. i will use tf2
go into TF (all games have a file like that. for portal you would go into Portal)
In TF go into sound. then go into UI.
In ui you will see music from the game. then just copy the music to your music folder and put it on your phone!
Maxis games:
for maxis games like the sims or simcity its easy.
NOTE: i don't have the sims 3 or any new sims games. I have the old ones.
Go into
C:program files (x86), maxis
In there will be ALL your maxis games (simcity, the sims, etc)
go into any game you like. ill use the sims 1
go into music.
In music you will have video clips and stations or what ever. go into any folder you want and you will have all your sims songs!
Mojang games:
for minecraft or other mojang games they arent .mp3 files. instead they are .OGG
in oder to find minecrafts files do this:
Windows XP or lower users:
go to start run. in run type %appdata% then go into roaming, .minecraft, resource.
in resource you should see music in there how ever its .OGG
7/vista:
go to start type in the search box %appdata%, roaming, minecraft, resource
in resource you should see music in there how ever its .OGG
if anyone is good enough to tell me how to make them .mp3 files then ill add it here
PS2 music files:
in oder to find your ps2 music files youll need a software for finding the music.
make sure your ps2 disc says on the disc "DVD ROM"
insert the disc into your DVD ROM for your pc/laptop
then use your software for finding the music.
Each disc has its own files so your on your own at this part sorry
i hope this helps if you want to listen to any game music.
Help me and ill add more tutorials!
