This server sucks.

First off, it's horribly coded and it doesn't work. You're spawn with default tools and the minigame won't reset. However, you only have ONE life.

Second, the build and atmosphere is bland and weird. When you fall, you get an incredibly annoying screaming sound. And you can't tell where you die. The build is small and what's with the random two lines of that light brown?

Where's the pictures?

I mean, expect from the title.

I don't think you really have room to judge the server before it's even working properly

You don't know any of the code. All you know is that it's bugged, that doesn't mean you should automatically assume it's horribly coded.
The scream you were warned about, and I assume those two lines are maybe boundaries or where you spawn.
Wait for it to be fixed. Then if you still don't like it I think it'd be fair to say your criticisms. But right now all you're going by is a broken preview and a platform you can't even get to

I'm just gonna shut this down for now.

scripting isn't easy aswell, so you can't blame reinforcements.

if guild wars 2 servers aren't working properly and they need to fix it in a patch 1-2 weeks from now, does that make them exempt from criticism?

or if your favorite game mode author on gmod released a buggy and mostly broken gamemode, does that make him exempt from criticism for not coding it properly?

NO.

acerblocks second point was invalid, but the first point has a really good loving reason to say said server sucks.

he had beta testers, all the more reason to blame him.

The point was that he was saying the entire server sucked despite never having had a chance to try it correctly. It's obviously not ready

And no his first point wasn't a good reason. Acer can't see Rein's code. It could be perfectly coded except for one or two bugs causing the glitches we're seeing, for all we know. There's a few bugs that need to be worked out before it can be played, that's not grounds to say the game sucks.

he even had beta testers. His server should have been checked and ready to go.

I feel my point stands that I can review a project badly if it is made badly because it should work when released.

first impressions make a huge difference to whether or not a player keeps playing.
a broken server is obviously not a good first impression.

sigh
remember the broken ass server ea made for sim city 5?
people hated the game still.
people returned it for a refund.
all the critics gave it low ratings.

and as it turns out, it was perfectly coded for everything except for a few bugs which caused the server to forget up.

the same applies to a free server.

if you can't make it work at release, then people will criticize it for years to come.

Is Reinforcements still working on his last project?

You are obviously criticizing this way more than you should. Why you are doing this, I'm not really sure. It's probably just fun to jump on the hate bandwagon. Average jerk. Why do I say you are criticizing it way more than you should? Any decent person would just say "uh, Rein, I think it broke", or "Rein you should have tested it more before you released it. It stopped working for no reason."
reinforcements is the worst scripter ever.
join his server to find out why, if it's working properly then it means he fixed it.
This one's really funny because he's trying to insult my abilities, yet he still has enough confidence in me to be able to fix it. (As shown by the end sentence.) If he really thought I was that bad of a scripter, he wouldn't have any confidence that I'd be able to fix it, and he wouldn't have included the last part of his sentence. A very empty insult.

Also, thanks for fending off the jerks for me Mysteroo. ;)

Is Reinforcements still working on his last project?
kinda

EDIT: This was originally a small thing that I thought I'd host for a little while, as I don't believe that It'll last. I'm not sure if I'll put time into fixing it, as the replay value is very low for this kind of thing.
