it means they are able to see a ton of colors without mixing in colors to get a specific color. our brains aren't capable of handling that. its not that they can see colors that don't exist. that would make no sense.

What would be the point of seeing colours unmixed when they can be seen mixed, and nobody is implying that the colours don't exists they are saying they do but humans cannot perceive them.

I think they put the extra colors as "?" because we don't know what the exact colors are.
