What's the key for unselecting in Milkshape 3D?

In photoshop if you want to unselect a portion of a selection, you hold alt. How do I do this in ms3d?
and yes I tried googling it.

Shift M1 will select multiple
Shift M2 will deselect while keeping other objects selected
