What the actual forget happened last month

I turn around to play starmade for two weeks and the forum goes to stuff. What the hell happened?


I've already looked through drama and badspots posts and I'm still really confused.

Serious awnser:
A few people figured out the password to use "secure commands" which let you do things such as impersonate players, including Badspot, as in the drama he made. After which people also started to figure out how to lie to the master server about their server's stats, and various people including Lando exploited the hell out of it, because autism.

edit: Granted this happened like last week, not last month. And Badspot already said he's going to have to patch the game to fix the issue.
