no, actually. this is really basic stuff. new users will almost invariably visit General Discussion first, if they aren't looking for help with the game

This should be more of a "how to conduct yourself your first day on the forums" thread rather than how to use them. Mainly because anyone can click on the help button and read up on this material.

there is a limit to how many characters can be in one post, and if you expect that you may go over that limit, then you would reserve the first post so that you could edit it later, basically extending the OP
and a sticky is definitely not going to happen
