so i made the body to a tank
no turret or anything yet, just the body

for some reason when i export the model to a .dts and replace .dts files of a car with my tank .dts, after picking the vehicle in vehicle spawn brick, my game crashes

why?

Collision mesh must be on another layer. Export that layer as a Collision detail level. Here's how to:

1.1. Select your collision mesh.
1.2. Hit Shift-M and select a box other than the 1st one.
1.3. Now your collision mesh is on a different layer.
2. Open your exporter
2.1. Find "Shape" tab
2.2. Find "Detail Levels" tab
2.3. Find "Add" button
2.4. Note "Visible Detail Level"
2.5. Change it to "Collision Detail Level"
2.6. Press Add
2.7. Now you should have two detail levels
3. Note the 20 green boxes next to the detail levels labelled as "Use Layers:"
3.1. Press the 1st green box for "Detail1"
3.2. Note which layer you put your collision mesh. Press the corresponding green box next to "Collision -1"
4. Press Export
5. Enjoy

Your look.dsq should include it slowly moving up then down, about 10 frames each.
Well, it worked with my turret, but I'm not sure. You could try it though.

yea thats what i have

"Look" and such animations should be a blend animation. Ref pose should be the 1st frame, I think.

To set up a blend animation, go to the exporter, find the sequences tab, seq properties, click on t_look and press a green button called "Blend animation".
