Blockland the book

the other day i thought it would be cool to write a book full of short stories about Blockland.
the stories would be like war stories, romance, action, and comedy.
since i have never attempted this genre* before (no one has really) it will be very hard to write.
should i attempt to write this book or not?

* i am marking Blockland as its own genre
