I'll put a TL;DR just in case you don't feel like reading this paragraph.
Furries have been here WAY before bronies, I'll establish that now. My old account, Fordmany (Mulligan) was back in V8/V9. The brony:furry ratio was 1:100. You never saw a pony on here. Furries, have been here since... well, almost forever. There is a huge uproar with the brony community, also furries. Now, I'm a jumbo-brony, and not a furry. But why do we critisize each other by this amount on our tastes in entertainment? Why is it so wrong to like something, someone else doesn't? Why don't we accept others? (Breaking into Vsauce, a bit) It's pretty simple. Compared to what we've grown used to, we know what is right to us, and what is wrong. But, when we see another person doing something we think is wrong, we advise them to stop. Why, do us humans, do that?
TL;DR Why do we accept some things, but not other topics? (Bronies and Furries to be specific)
