Author Topic: 0 Latency and High Lag?!  (Read 3932 times)

Can you post your PC specs for me? Like all of them, RAM, CPU GPU everything.

When Blockland says your latency is 0, it is in fact so high that it doesn't display correctly.
This is most likely client-sided lag. In other words, your computer is lagging because there are too many bricks, players, particles, or other objects. You may need to turn down your graphics settings.
This is the real reason that I've concluded:
Blockland is running so slow that multiple packets are received in the same frame, causing the game to think that no time has passed. Normal clients have high FPS rates (100+ per second meaning less than 10ms inaccuracy).

This is a little more speculative:
Servers are set to 32 per second which could make pings inaccurate by up to 31.25ms. You can see that by the "unstable" pings that servers report.

Not sure whether or not I'll find half of that. Any ideas to find all the info neccessary?

Open the program called "dxdiag", you can find it quickly by searching for it on the windows start menu or the search files window. Once dxdiag loads up, click the "Save All Infomation" button at the bottom of the window. Save the file somewhere and attach it to your post.

ok heres the DXDiag thingy

I have 1000 latency and low lag :l

Maybe just lower graphics just a little bit. If you have a higher-end comp with better hardware, use that thing.
Other than that I don't know how that's happening  :cookieMonster:

Did you try updating your video card drivers?
