Author Topic: Cables to hook up my pc to my tv. HELP  (Read 1552 times)

I just want to see it. This is incredibly annoying. This is why I like xbox. Lol
You could always hook up a spare monitor to that VGA port on your motherboard. I don't think you'll be able to play any games, but at least you can see.

That green port isn't VGA lol. It is a serial port. Notice how it is male and 9 pins instead of female and 15.

Also, the white ports are dual-link DVI-Ds. This means that each port can hold two monitors. I think you can plug a regular DVI-D cable into them, but you could also use a splitter and do a dual monitor setup off of just one.

Ah that's why it looked funny, my bad. I go off of color and it looked blue to me.

Take a picture of the ports on the back of your TV.

so if I got a dvi cable and plugged it into my monitor would I be able to play games? Like plug it right into my graphics card?

Yes, you should be able to.
