Cheers buddy, I did alright, I got a grade C which is average, but I'll be happy with considering none of the essay was flashed into my head, I kind of made it all up from the spot.

Well done! Grade C is a great grade.
I got a Grade E overall for my first French GCSE, and then two years later got a grade C, which I was chuffed with (since you supposedely have to understand tenses to get, which I certainly don't).

If you were able to get a C from improv, then you must have done well.
