um, describe passive. the jack is metal but not anything else.
Passive means it only requires it to be plugged into your audio port. Active means it requires power of some sort like batteries or charging.

like I said, it has both a usb and a jack, so not passive.

Well I've never heard this with headphones, but maybe if you could you could just try insulating the inside of the headphones if it is possible to open them without breaking.

Also are you sure it's not your hair getting stuck in some part of the headphone and then when you move it it tugs at it?

everything is glued, no screws. and my hair doesnt get caught.

Well stuff I don't know, the headphones should ground through the audio jack.
