Author Topic: Clicking a game in library opens a random game - Anyone else getting this?  (Read 360 times)

For a while now, when I double click a game in my library, I'd notice it trying to open another game. At first I thought I might be misclicking, or the list was still loading and I didn't see the list move, but I've been more and more sure it is a problem with Steam. Just now, I watched myself click one game, it even highlighted in the list. Then Powder Toy opened up and it selected that instead. What could cause such a random bug? And why does it happen? It's annoying as forget, too, because people see me opening Left 4 Dead 2 or something and are like "Duuude, you're playing that? :O" and I'm like "No damn it I was starting something else."

Highlight the game in the list and click play? I didn't even know you could double click the game to launch it. What type of list are you using? With detail view double clicking works for me.

In Detail View, I'll open the Library, scroll down the list, double click a game. Yesterday I did this, and it started opening KSP. :/ Today, The Powder Toy. It's also tried reinstalling Saints Row: The Third. This was all when opening the same game, so it doesn't seem to scroll a specific amount and stop - it chooses a random game.
