Is there any way to make an alt with the same email as your old one?

Hi I wanted to make an alt (~~~just in case~~) with the spare key I got from the 75% off sale. I noticed you have to have a different email to make a new account then your original, and I find this quite annoying. Is there any way to go around this?

This is particularly easy when you own an email server, and have near infinite addresses and forwarders at your disposal.

Change the email on the original one to something else and create the new one with your email
Or create a new email that does nothing but forward the emails to your actual email
