Im sure not alot of people know but I own a Garry'smod server with a pretty small Playerbase on it. We've gone through several of issues with the provider we use (Vilayer) and so far, it's all just crashed down.
First among our issues are the random server restarts that happen with Vilayer. I have contacted them and they claim they're fixed, but they were not.
First I have to contact them about my MySQL Database (Which is required to play on the server) just to find my information, because the instructions they gave me were outdated.
Now I'm having an Access Denied (Using Password: YES) error apon connection, and I have sent them yet another support ticket asking what's wrong. I have set up an account linked to the Database with all permissions set, aswell.
It's been a full week and they have not yet replied the latest support ticket. I went to see if they have forums by going to their website, only get a persistant "504 - Backend unavailable" error, and I can't contact them about it because I have much better things to use OTHER than Outlook.
Now I have a handful of people clawing at me trying to get me to Re-open my Gmod server, and I can't. I refuse to just let the server drop (Yay for dedication) but I'm starting to fear that I don't have much choice. If anyone can help, please do whether it's finding out what's wrong with the Access Denied error, or if there's a much better and cheaper/as cheap provider.
