I recommend using dxtory and downloading the lagarith lossless codec.
It writes instantly into the codec at a thirtieth of the space, loses absolutely no quality, and opens in programs like sony vegas as the original uncompressed video, so you've literally lost no quality. The problem I've had with converting to mp4 (before I used lagarith) is that you lose a stuffton of quality that way, and encoding takes forever


fraps is 100 dollars now? lol i bought it when it was 30 dollars
