Author Topic: Turf 2 - the second coming (new map, new op, new gangs)  (Read 621 times)

It's the year 2032, and no there are no jetpacks, or laser guns. (I mean, sure I guess there are if you have a bajillion dollars to spend on them.) But what there are, are big cities. Most of the cities in the US that had a population of 10k or so have totally ballooned in population, reaching Los Angeles size populations within years. And to keep these cities from being dangerous, the World Police (the United States Peace Organization - to "Protect And Serve") have been installed in three of the largest cities, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, as Chicago has been riddled with crime to no end that it has been sectioned off as the Crime Island, which you will visit later. Miami is under a state of emergency for high water levels, so it's closed off for a little while as the airport is flooded; Los Angeles is suffering from an earthquake. Both of them were caused from the same storm - Hurricane Alba. The train and air lines to the cities have both been blocked, but people are still managing to get in by car. For now, however, our story starts in New York City, in the airport. A man, Tang Stzu, has just arrived from an overseas flight beginning in Tokyo. As a crime lord in the slums of Tokyo, he has arrived here after almost facing jailtime. As a fugitive, he wants to enlist a gang to protect him, which they will be rewarded by with millions upon millions of dollars; the gangs are fighting to get him. As he's riding on the subway, a man attempts to mug him. He pulls out a gun quickly and shoots the mugger in the chest, and gets off the train at Park Slope; he's stranded, and the police are on his ass. A car quickly pulls up and one white man, two black are inside. They're all wearing suits and glasses. The white one beckons for Tang to get in the car, and he does. Upon entry, they all introduce themselves. One man, the white guy, is John Ferrenmen, and he's an Irish immigrant and gang leader, one black one, a tall, skinny one is Baroque, the police worker, and then you have Felepin as he's called, a drug dealer. The gang, although this is not all of them, has tried to gain the trust of Tang. Their name is the New York City Swingers, and they sound much like a baseball team with a criminal underside. But they're not. Tang falls asleep in the car after hearing this, he's so tired, and he wakes up in a nice apartment on 42nd Street on the East Side. John tells about other gangs.

He tells Tang to rest, then when Tang wakes up, he's outside, in a new suit. Tang travels around talking to the different gangs. He will find one to secure him, and then they'll travel with him to Miami.

[OKAY, SO HERE'S HOW WE'RE GOING TO DO IT. I'M TANG, AND YOU CREATE YOUR GANG, AND I'LL MEET UP WITH YOU, AND YOU HAVE TO SECURE ME FROM THE OTHER GANGS WHO START WARS WITH YOU TRYING TO GET ME. SO YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET ME AND THE MONEY AND THEN WE'LL UNLOCK MIAMI FOR ALL THE OTHER GANGS THAT LIVE AND THEN LOS ANGELES AND THE LAST GANG WHO LIVES WINS, AND THEN WE'LL START TURF 3. IN THE SAME THREAD. BEGIN.]

3 Cars pull up to 42nd street, at Tangs apartment. The men play This song. The men inside appear to be of Irish origin, they have G3's, FN FNC's, and Beretta handguns. One man knocks on Tang's door, then beckons him inside the cars.

I get in the car. "Well," I cough, "Let's get right to business. In Japan, I was a major coke dealer. Then I got working with the gangs of Tokyo and I basically became the leader of the city, I owned the forgetin place. What do you work with? Hm, Terrorism, arm sm... I don't see drug dealing. Look, I can help you deal drugs, but I'm going to need you to work with drug dealing for me to be interested."

"I guess so."

"I guess so."
"Right. Now, I've got a meeting in Penn Station. Technically, I'm supposed to be going to Clinton Street, in Brooklyn. But I want to meet this guy right as he comes off the train to see if he's serious or if he's just bullstuffting me. If you can get another car to run out to Clinton street, at the Side Street Deli, and then have one of you drop me off at Penn Station and guard me from a distance - that'd be great. But I don't know - you may not be up to the task. It's not what your gang deals with, of course."
