the brick limit can easily be changed thru console commands, although, if you go above 256000, the bricks that are placed will not ghost, but will affect the brickcount.

and i think you can change it in the advanced server settings.

keep in mind, if you load a 256000 brick save, any bricks you place that go above 256000 will not get ghosted so they technically dont exist.

yeah i've gone above the brick limit before
every past the limit stops ghosting though so it isn't preferable
