Author Topic: What the forget school? (class scedual complaints)  (Read 2886 times)

Let's try this again. Schedule.

I picked my own classes for this entire year before the last year of school had even ended, could pick mostly whatever teacher I wanted as there are several duplicates of the same class, can eat/be wherever I want during the school day as long as I show up in class on time, and the most expensive textbook I've ever bought was 50 USD new and I could have gotten that used for 15 USD. America is silly.

I also have a class that I have no clue what it is "SERVICE LEARNING"
It's learning through providing a service; basically community service that applies something from the class.
For example, one of my web design classes had a service learning project of building or improving a website for a non-profit.

If you don't know who you need to talk to, then ask? In my school we had a counsel office, and all the students were split between three counselors based on last name.

On a related note:
In my high school, the standard science classes people take are physical science, biology, and chemistry. Most people take these, but there are a bunch of other options that people can choose. I choose to take a geology class and an astronomy class instead of the chemistry class. Someone, without talking to me, changed my entire schedule around, dropping two random classes and giving me chemistry. I managed to get it fixed, but I had to take several classes through the year that I had no interest in.

So how come people other than you are allowed to change your schedule? Over here only you can do it and you're responsible for actually filling it. If you don't have a schedule made for the next few months (5 periods per one semester), tough luck. You can even take classes out of order if you really, really want to.

I thought it was gonna be about loveual intimidation (seduction) at school.

My teacher already removed me from Algebra I and put me in AZ Standards.

I picked my own classes all through high school.

Yea, I made a spelling mistake. Now how about you take and contribute a little bit to the topic?

Oh, thanks.
