Author Topic: Milkshape inverted faces  (Read 1144 times)

So I was converting blb2obj and I imported in MS3D and when I put them in game the faces are inside out. Is there a method to fix this? Here is a picture

Which obj2blb converter are you using? I don't think the newer one works with milkshape.

Do the faces show up black in Milkshape?

Yes, but I remember that if you put a face on milkshape and export it you can only see one side in blockland and I think that's the reason. Also I am using Z0W0's

Can you show us how it looks in the program?

What you will do it fix it is select the faces that are inverted and then press Shift+Control+F.

Thank you! That worked so I assume you don't need to see it? The model was just black when inverted.

Yeah, I don't need to see it. I had thought that it might be a failure of the way Milkshape shades faces and so I had asked to see it in an attempt to diagnose the problem. I also just gave a generic fix, hoping that would help.
