Author Topic: Theme songs in other languages  (Read 524 times)

I was showing the DuckTales opening to someone I know from France, and he said he mainly knows the French version. I decided to look it up and found this:

DuckTales Themes in French, German, Latin American Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Polish, Norwegian, and Russian

Of course, this inspired me for this topic. It'd be interesting to see the variations of theme songs across different languages. They always get modified and changed, done differently, and it is rare we find these versions other than looking for them directly. The same person from earlier was suggesting I look up Pokemon themes, and I'll try that now. If you want, you can post other variations of well known theme songs.

Edit: English and French Pokemon Theme Songs played together: http://youtubedoubler.com/?video1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D8ZdzY9TGu1c&start1=0&video2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DK8XWx0yrAo8&start2=0&authorName=Pokemon+%28English%2FFrench%29

Try finding the DuckTales theme in Hungarian. Search for "Kacsamesék" (the title is a literal translation of DuckTales).
