Whenever I try to record with Dxtory, It works fine but when I replay the video, all that shows up looks is a recording that seems to have 1 Fps. I'm also using another Hard Drive for recording / games. Any Tips?

Pretty Much I'm using the Lagarith Lossless Codec in Dxtory for recording.

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz  2.99 GHz
Ram: 4 GB (3 GB usable)

it's best not to do that so that you can alter game/mic sound separately in case the volume settings are incorrect and the game washes out the microphone

well its not for like overlaying commentary.
i wanted to record my friend and me on bf3, and make a little montage of all the times he screams dumb rage stuff into teamspeak without even realizing it.

try ezvid or somethin

try ezvid or somethin

I've tried Ezvid before, I didn't like it because it required you to choose music.
Don't get me wrong, there might have been a option to disable music and I missed it. Idk

I think Dxtory makes footage meant for editing.
It's generally not recommended to edit compressed files, because you need to decompress live. However, those "editing" files are not meant for playback. Try putting the file in any movie editor program and see how it runs there. You might need to just export again. Or who knows.

Yeah you can disable music/choose your own

you're recording on an external hdd op? what's it connected with usb 2, 3, SATA?

if you're connected with usb 2 it can't keep up with the recording if the quality is too high
this leads to chunky video even if it's saying you're recording to file at w/e frames
