Author Topic: Anxiety for my Dad  (Read 4098 times)

Koochie, why do you think he's going to die so much? Tell us his stats. Like, how much does he weigh, how often does he exercise, genetic medical conditions? Past serious injuries maybe?

Well, he's had prancreatitis (every once and a while he'll have a really painful attack), he's had to have 1/3 of his pancreas and his gallbladder removed, he can't work out due to some sort of joint pain. He's been getting injured for most of his life, he used to be a farmer and a lineman.

He's not the healthiest, so that's why I worry.

Guise, why is this happening? I'm seriously really worried about him. I know 62 isn't that old, but he hasn't been in the best of health lately.

its happening because your dad spent his life not taking care of himself.
this is what happens to ALLLLLL people who eat like stuff and dont exercise to a certain point.
usually late 40s it starts.

its not even surprising.

Pretty sure Mounds Bar is actually autistic if I'm remembering correctly. Cut him some slack.

Also my dad is almost 60 too. I worry about the same things you do.
The most realistic advice I can give you is that you should just enjoy all
the time you have with him. I can't guarentee he'll be okay or that everything will be fine, but I can guarentee that it's best to just cherish every moment you have with him. Sorry to here all this Kochie, you can talk to me anytime if you need to

im cry now :c

I hope your dad gets better now c: Give him this cookie  :cookie:

I have friends with dads who are older than your dad, and they are older than you (the OP). My dad is in fact older than your dad, and I'm younger than you (OP). A lot of parents who have their kids at older ages tend to be more successful, while parents who have kids at much younger ages aren't as successful. It's a statistic.

My condolences to your dad.

Welp, my dad is getting an Angiogram as we speak.
