turns out we are going to use use Scratch for the course
wtf i thought we are going to learn algorithms and start learning an actual coding language

i expected to learn how to piece a computer together in computer science last year but then it was suddenly coding in C.
which is totally cool but the description didn't really put it that way.

in our game design class, we make a stuffty glitchy asteroid game and bouncing ball game in Game Maker.

Lol my school uses Java and I think even moves on to C++

We used blitz basic. At the end of the year I made a game that could be rated slightly better than Artari's ET.

thats reg comp science, ap comp science a is just java and where your algorithms are

That always threw me off too until I actually figured out that it was in-fact programming and not assembly.
