Should I buy a new stereo for my car?

is that generally a good idea?

also where would I get one? ebay is the only place that I can find that actually has a few options, but idk if it'd be advisable to buy one on ebay?

If you're in the west coast of the US, and want to buy a new stereo, i would check out Frys electronics.

Otherwise check out craigslist or do a local search on google. It's hard to recommend a place. I found a nice place locally here in Huntington that does great stereo work.

I'd probably do that but I don't have a job and don't have enough cash for something like that
I might not even be able to afford a good stereo idk. I've only got a bit over $300
