Okay, so in my past topic (the "oh stuff oh stuff oh stuff" one), I managed to completely remove SweetIM, but there's on little pesky browser hijacker like that one, and it's SweetIM's big brother, Conduit.
Now, Conduit is supposed to slow down your PC and forget over your stuff with trojans and browser hijackings and even redirect viruses, but i'm not getting any of this.
Only once did it change my homepage to Conduit, but before it could load I quickly closed it and changed my settings so it won't happen again, and changed my main search engine back to Google
Now it's.. It's just doing nothing, they say it's all evil and will slow down your internet and fill your PC with trojans and other viruses, but it's not really doing any of that, malwarebytes isn't detecting anything.
I've tried looking up how to remove it and most of the guides on how to remove it were a bit complicated for me, so I just permanently deleted the Conduit folder in Program Files (x86), but that didn't really seem to do anything.
My browser seems to be still the same speed it's been since the start of this year and i'm not getting redirected to anything, I don't have a "Search protected by Conduit" thing in my Uninstall a Program menu, nor do I have anything relevant to conduit in the Uninstall a Program menu, i've also checked the date that it ended up happening, but still, nothing, the only thing that's relevant to conduit on Google Chrome is that it's in the "search engines" menu.
Also it doesn't show "conduit" in my url bar when I do a search with Google, so yeah.
