Wow, you people sure do like to beat up on things that don't deserve it. With a "mobile device", it pretty much comes down to:
 - Ease of use
 - Apps that do what I want?
 - (Sometimes) specs

Really, if you can't figure out how to do useful things on a Nexus 7 versus an iPad - then either you don't know what you're talking about, or you simply aren't very resourceful.

the type cover is an average laptop keyboard, the cheap touch one is stuffe

The AppStore has a good selection of music creation apps. I use my iPad as a guitar amp modeler occasionally, use it for tracking drums and doing electronic/piano stuff (NanoStudio), and a tablet for drawing all the time.
