Turtle Shell Soup?

Got back from Little Saigon today and had my first bowl of Turtle Shell Soup.  I didn't like that first couple sips because of the froth that builds on top of it but once you get to the little chunks of meat, WOW.  It is like really sweet chicken.  Plus the shell is a pretty cool souvenir.

I've had turtle shell soup, it's delicious quite frankly but I feel bad for eating the turtle. They are such amazing creatures who are harmless and just live in peace and harmony, I just felt so guilty when I ate it.

pretty much the majority of all food we eat is docile. morality isn't an issue when it's an eat-to-survive world.

LOL YEAH FOUND IT

Just had Dolphin Fin Soup for the first time today!  Amazing!  Anyone else try any exotic food?  And don't go on about oh cute Dolphins are, they are not threatened or endangered, however they are delicious!  Try to go for the younger ones as the meat tends to be a lot softer.  The one I ate was about three years old from what the chef told me and was slightly tough.  Can't wait to go next week!
