Netflix Win8 app subtitles don't work

When I'm watching a show, subtitles don't work properly. When I turn them on, whatever phrase they're saying is subtitled, and then it stays on that. It doesn't update or change with what they're saying. If i turn it off then back on again, it goes to what they were saying then.


It's been like this for a while now. I suppose I could rapidly turn them on and off but that is annoying and stupid and not a solution at all.
