how to record text to speech?

i'm making a mini blockland video and need to record text to speech
how do i do this?

1. get speakonia from here http://download.cnet.com/Speakonia/3000-7239_4-10125328.html
2. get audacity from here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
3. Install both
4. boot up speakonia and audacity
5.start recording your sounds from speakonia from setting the microphone input to stereo mix
