Blockland launcher won't run - it just pops up and stays black

I start blockland.exe and the launcher pops up but it's black and won't respond.

I can run terraria, minecraft, mount and blade warband, and other 3D games, and blockland worked on this computer before the launcher was introduced. No idea why it won't run.

Cuz I stopped using the comp when I got a new one, but that one is gone now.
