Do you even watch the costs of creating the game before you purchase one?

No, but I do expect at least more content out of the game when they made enough money to live on it for a couple years.
Am I taking it to heart? No. Would I buy another game by them? Yeah of course.

Honestly I would have at least expected a few more features when they made so much money off of it.
