what program do i need to have to watch recordings i tried using windows media player and realplayer but it just gives me errors

Watch them in BL.

Keep in mind, you're much better off finding a program like Fraps to record your BL movies.

I have exactly the same problem. I can record fine and get the files into that selection at the opening screen, but BL crashes when I open one.

Me three i did use fraps but it only let you record for 30 sec now that is just handicapped I hope someone can help us

You can only record 30 second clips in the free version of fraps. Go buy it if you want longer ones.
