I watched all sorts of stuff as a child and didn't repeat it. I mean forget I played GTA and I didn't grow up beating people with a carrot and stealing cars.

My childhood must have been very weird.

This, I grew up watching violent stuff and what not as well. Some of my first played games were also violent (games like 007 Golden Eye and Mortal Combat)

violent games are outlets for people with already existing problems, they do not however cause them
in essence his argument is true to a point, you can't seriously say playing games glorifying killing won't have an effect on a childs behavior, but only in certain circumstances will video games actually result in violence irl
