Author Topic: my opinion on the movie gravity  (Read 3170 times)

all I have to say is
THERE'S NO SOUND IN SPACE

Gravity was just proven wrong by scientists today.  Turns out, we are magnets being held down.  lol

all I have to say is
THERE'S NO SOUND IN SPACE
Sound can't travel through the vacuum, they were talking through radios in their suits.

you say she should have been burned up but realize she was in an escape pod. it's point was to survive the atmosphere, lol

Actually, the movie was very very realistic.  And when I say that I am saying it "technically".  "Technically" all those things could happen.  Its just extremely unlikely, and was based off of a lot of luck.

The apogee of the Tiangong is 373km. The perigee of the ISS is 423km. There's no way you could just burn straight from the ISS towards the Tiangong and expect to end up anywhere vaguely close to it.

However that was one of the very few divergences from real-world physics and science in the film. Everyone complaining about how totally unrealistic the movie was has fallen victim to Reality Is Unrealistic.

my fav part: when the international space station was destroyed and she said:

"I hate space."

XD everyone in the theater was laughing.
i also liked it when she was cussing, lol
