So today I got my ACT Explore results back from school, and the counselor came in and told us everything about it, what it means, and other things.
The grades were this:
Composition (average/overall): 20/25 or 80%
English: 23/25 or 92%
- usage/mechanics (1-12): 12/12 or 100%
- rhetorical skills (1-12): 09/12 or 75%
Mathematics: 18/25 or 72%
Reading: 17/25 or 68%
Science: 21/25 or 84%
The EXPLORE Benchmark grades for College Readiness were, in order by English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, 13. 17, 16, and 18. I got Above for all of them, which means I am certainly ready for college by now (but I'm too young orz).
In other news, related to grades, I am in the Lindbergh School's Academic All-Stars for having the highest grades on the MAP (Missouri Assessment Program). Why is this so awesome and important? It means I'm one of the best in the state AND I'm getting a bunch of free stuff. I'm getting things like a Wehrenberg movie pass, a free meal at Culver's, 5 bucks in free gameplay at Incredible Pizza Company, and lots of other cool stuff.
Also, in ACT relatedness, I'm deciding my plans for after highschool.
I will go to a 4-year college or university, and I will be in the career area of Computer & Info Specialties. The career? A Game Designer.
