Okay so I cannot connect to google or any google affiliated things. I tried to ping google and it times out, no packets received. I tried the other websites I'd like to go to but no packets received either.

I'm not using a router, I'm tethering. I've tethered before and I could load these websites fine.

Try opening an cmd prompt and typing this:

ipconfig /flushdns

It's a long shot, but maybe it'll work.

I had this happen to me the other day, except I could go on Steam and Skype just fine.

I restarted my computer and that seemed to fix it.
