Author Topic: In response to "No good servers"  (Read 2646 times)

what i see here is you getting rid of people simply because you didn't want them there. yeah it's your server, fine, do whatever you want. it's still admin abuse.
How the forget is that admin abuse?

My servers are usually always pretty popular and I end up needing to ban less than 3 times a month. I don't know what you're doing wrong.

I wouldn't call design preference arbitrary.

Lol, some misunderstand. Its not the ban I was trying to get at with this topic. The reason I ban ten times more then you is because this is a city rpg, and no one reads the rules, they go hammer vehicles, jail people pay dems, or breaking some other rules left and right. Its not me, its those that don't follow the rules.

The intent of the topic was to ask Why should hosts host their servers if all they get back in return is disrespect.

EDIT: Assuming those hosts give out respect in the first place that is. I only say the previous statement because someone is bound to say "Well thats cuz der all bad hostz."

Here's the practical solution to the Good Server Apocalypse:
Make a good server.

It really bugs me when people always complain about the little things about the server when they could just easily ignore it and move on instead of bitching about it for 30 minutes.

And I also hate it when people complain about things that are SUPPOSED to be like that. Like when you have a slightly powerful gun in the middle of the map and people complaining about how OP it is.
