Getting blood taken is nearly completely painless. When people tell you all you feel is a prick, its the truth.
Unless you tense your muscles when the needle is in your arm, then it will hurt like a loving bitch and your arm will be sore for at least a week, so just relax.

I remember the last time I went to do this. It was in August. It was fine untill when she stuck the needle in there, she started digging around for the vein or whatever they need. Otherwise, these are nothing, really.

i got my blood tested recently because my hemoglobin levels were low
and the nurse was mental or something because she just could not get any blood out
i'm sitting there for five minutes with a woman ramming a needle into my arm, and wiggling it all around trying to find a vein

expect to get your skin rubbed with alcohol, flicked to make the veins more visible, then stabbed with a needle all the way into your vein

then you get to watch the blood squirt out in little rythmic bursts until your blood fills a couple tubes.

I love having my blood tested
It doesn't hurt and I enjoy seeing my blood flow through the tube :)
