i'm playing black ops 2 with a friend, and it sucks using split screen, and since i have a laptop i was wondering if i could play on my laptop screen, but using the xbox controller

I think something was lost in translation. From what I can gather, he's playing the console version of the game and wants local multiplayer with player 1 on a TV and player 2 on the laptop screen.

Assuming this is what he's saying, I don't think that's possible.

it would help if he worded it a lot more clearly.

"split screen sucks" implies he doesn't want to do split screen at all and would rather have separate screens.
