Author Topic: Animations on Shaper  (Read 1755 times)

How can you make animations on Shaper? I know the animate button, but that is it.

That's just for viewing animations. I you can't animate in it as far as I know. I also don't think you can modify the animations in any way. I don't remember even being able to rename them.

As Demian said, shaper is a viewing program. Not an editing program.

Dang. Is there any other application than blender and milkshape that doesn't cost money?

If you're in college you can get 3DS Max Student Edition for free.
But, the newer 3DS suites don't have the correct .dts export version for the ANCIENT BLOCKLAND DTS VERSION.

Um, blender and milkshape are pretty much your only two options. Due to blockland's ancient engine.
BLENDER
2.6 and above for modeling
2.49b for exporting (Required for correct .dts export version)

MILKSHAPE
Any version.
Costs money
Glitches up the ass.
Milkshape has a lot of glitches and has less tools.
Also, animations in milkshape are tidius. Because Milkshape has a stuffty animation UI.

Choice is a no brainer
I would let you use my milkshape key i dont use anymore, but that would be illegal. No license transfers :(
It's for the better anyways, because you should learn on blender.

Might as well learn in the more advanced program. Choose blender. Don't be intimidated by the GUI. Be strong, learn step by step, and become a god.
