Author Topic: comcast is being really slow  (Read 1396 times)

The first is probably most accurate if others are having it too, the second is also highly probable, either a your router couldn't handle it anymore (ours has done that before so we got a new one) or b it's hit like a point where it can't go on (RIP)
i'd suggest calling up comcast, ask if there servers are being slow yadda yadda,
it being my router isnt really likley
im looking at the stats page and it's only use 9% of its cpu
I have verizon, so I'm not sure if that helps the case or not
yeah it makes it more likely that its something related to all the sales going on

do you go to your neighbors house sometimes and use their wifi? if so, you might still have a weak signal still trying to connect. switch to your home network. if that isnt the case, then idk

and I'm torrenting Xubuntu for my laptop
and I'm getting these speeds lol, I'm not getting anything like whats happening to you

then again you're right outside chicago
your internet was better from the start
im not really sure what to make of this
if its bad on tuesday i get to complain

i was able to check bandwidth usage, i can assure it if there is a cap i haven't hit it :cookieMonster:
Is that from Comcast, or a page on your router?
If the former, where is it? I'm curious about my own use

Found it

It's not just you. We've been having this issue where I live, too. They also don't currently have a data cap (we called) that they enforce.

Also they have pretty bad tech support/customer support. Got "disconnected" twice after waiting ~10 minutes each call to actually talk to someone.
