probably because an unreasonably large percentage (relative to population size) of the people they arrest are black? theres a difference between arresting/frisking someone because they fit the profile of suspects and arresting/frisking someone just because theyre black

Almost all police forces do it, I don't see a thing wrong with it. I just think Stop and Frisk should be modified a bit, it is morally wrong to be suspicious of minorities, even though a large portion of criminals in New York belong to a minority. Ever since Stop and Frisk has been in place, the crime rate has lowered even more in the city. I think that really does say something about it.
