I can't use bots!

I opened up my server to create a new game with bots but when it WAS loading, a runtime error popped up and stopped me so i restarted BL , tried again  and it happened again. i then disable bots , its fine but then i realize i NEED the bots. so then i retry one last time with bots and boom, there's that runtime error again.

Can you guys tell me how to solve this error?

steam, uninstall and reinstall the game

not steam, uninstall, and download a new installer and reinstall the game with that


if that doesn't work its probably your computer, try going onto a friends server with them having bots enabled

Yeah, my friends can use bots just fine its just me that it doesnt work with.
