i'll agree with nausicaa
For some reason I don't like Nausicaa. It's really odd, maybe I should have delved into the manga, but I guess it's just because it wasn't as memorable to me as the others were comparatively. That doesn't mean I think it's a bad movie it just didn't do what the other Miyazaki movies did to me. I was in awe during the flight scenes but sadly, that's all I remember. I remember the seven days of fire (because that's a cool name) but not the valley itself. Maybe I'll give the movie a second go. I think that depending on the movie they deserve a second glance and maybe during my winter break I'll see if I can't grab a copy from a friend.

I think my favorite movies of Miyazaki's are the Castle of Cagliostro and Princess Mononoke. Castle of Cagliostro is kind of a cheat because I already liked Lupin the Third, but I really loved the setting and the pacing. The castle is beautiful and I think the last scene is fantastic. The story is similar to just a big mystery like Case Closed's movies (which is probably why they have crossovers in the first place) and I was surprised. It was a simple story and I think that those who don't even know Lupin can get to like his character. AND THAT HE'S VOICED IN ONE VERSION BY SOLID SNAKE AND BIG BOSS HIMSELF DAVID HAYTERRRR! Princess Mononoke is kind of like Nausicaa as I assumed both have very strong environmental messages. Nausicaa is about the dirtiness of industry and war while Princess Mononoke is more of just man and civilization as a whole, and how innocence is lost. I guess what I like more about Princess Mononoke is maybe that it is more of a dark movie. It appears, to me at least, take more risks in showing its theme. I don't think our Disney today will allow Studio Ghibli to incorporate such violence within their movies such as this one.

Can't wait to watch The Wind Rises too.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, LOTR like Clone said, and idk what else
I really enjoyed How to Train Your Dragon though.

The Santa Claus
It's a wondeful life
Lord of the Rings : Two Towers
The Dark Knight
