Author Topic: what's the difference between these headsets?  (Read 421 times)

  • 333d is on-ear and 323d is over-ear
  • 333d has a hinged headband so you can take one ear cup off if you want
  • 333d comes with a pouch
  • slight frequency response differences
  • (?)looks like 323d comes with some sort of velour earpads and the 333d comes with fake leather pads
  • 333d is 25g heavier

idk they're pretty similar, the main difference is the ear cup style. If I missed anything let me know, because I believe that's pretty much it.
I would get the 323d personally because it is open-ear (and cheaper).

Anyways, that's the first and last time I'm using bullet points.

Haha thanks a ton, when it comes to frequency response what are some things I should consider? Like for example if the frequency is 14 to 22000 hz, would it be even better if the 14 was lower and the 22k was higher?

The human audible range is 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz, so essentially anything higher or lower than that isn't really audible. Basically since the 333D has a 14 - 22000 Hz range it presumably has a slightly deeper low end than the 323Ds that have a range of 15 - 23000 Hz, even though it's not "heard" it can still be "felt" when you listen with them.

However, frequency response doesn't necessarily describe how good a set of headphones sound, that depends on various other things.

Sorry, that's kind of a crappy explanation lol.

It's a good enough explanation, I understood it lol, anyways thanks for helping me out I think I'll get the 323d
