Author Topic: my dad just came into my room and wrecked a bunch of stuff  (Read 2860 times)

I'm also concerned about how fake this all sounds.

"he broke my legos *picture of it all sitting in one pile as if his dad took both hands, smushed it all up and dropped it in place*"
"why you dont just fix it??"
excuse response: he threw out the box!
"look up online how to rebuild it"
excuse response: i forget what its called!
"why does he even do this?"
"he's just mad for no reason sometimes!"

I mean, anyone else see the problem in this?

also it was all sitting on the dresser so he just sort of swooped it all down
I had it in a pile because he told me to clean it up

started up the pc since he's gone and my hard drive was disconnected, just the case has another crack in it

also I really don't wanna mess with my dad he's like a foot taller than me and could whoop my ass

than call CPS and have them deal with your stuff parent

You should probably secure those hard drives in. I've never had one get disconnected from anything but me pulling it out.

And shame on you for relying on lego instruction books. Where's your creativity boy?

No one's suggesting that you assault him.

Get a recording device next time.

we never said to attack/defend?
half the people here have said call CPS

either stop with the games OR grow a pair and talk to him/call CPS

We still aren't really understanding why he's mad. I'm willing to bet there's more to it than just closing a door and putting clothes on a chair.

lol he just comes into your room from time to time and breaks your stuff for no reason
very great parents, 10/10 parenting, dad of the year

100% agree. Stated that earlier.
I think OP is spewing stuff and trying to cover his tracks

This, so much.

I call total bullstuff on this entire story. I'm pretty sure that if anyone's father wrecked someone's $800 worth of stuff then they'd probably call the police, or child services or whatever rather than post about it on a lego forum.
I mean, deducting from (the little of) what you've posted, your dad has some serious anger management issues. Where I live adults like that can have their parenting rights taken away.

Nobody I know would act this calmly about such a serious incident.

You should probably secure those hard drives in.

already did, and my hard drives seem fine

I was worried about the 2TB one and it seems to have all my data

But anyways next time he does this I'm recording it

also I have to check on the robot some time since I think he broke one of the legs

also locking topic before it becomes a stuffstorm
